Pink Company is a Japanese merchandise company run by Shinji Tobita and other individuals. It was founded in 1995 as an independent doujin circle, starting business in late 2002 and receiving a formal company status in September 2012. The company's name is a direct parody to Red Company (now known as Red Entertainment).
Papillon Rose was their breakout product and played a major role in the company's status, focusing on memetic fashion items, joke merchandise and the growing popularity of the internet within the otaku market.
The circle has since produced merchandise for copywritten characters from anime and game titles including Kodomo no Jikan, Rozen Maiden, GDGD fairies and Touhou Project, as well as the original merchandise series i-CAT, which is official distributed by Amazon and Yahoo.
